Ask your processor which current Self-Assessment Questionnaire, evidence, scans and deadlines apply to all your payment channels. Compare each required answer with actual evidence. Record unknowns and who will resolve them. Keep a list of payment terminals. Inspect for tampering or swaps and follow your processor’s reporting instructions. Maintain written payment-handling policies and a short yearly staff briefing. Review staff access, individual identities, remote vendor access and payment-provider responsibilities. Confirm payment-system and other device updates with the responsible vendors. Arrange any required scans or testing through the provider your processor requires. Keep incident contacts and the site-specific network bypass instructions available to staff. Have your authorized merchant representative complete, sign and submit the attestation. Save confirmation and calendar the next review.
